Velox V10 Pro – Released Soon

Team Shepherd is happy to present the final design of the soon to be released and completely revised Velox V10 Pro. The re-designed front end features a ball-raced wire anti-roll bar, a narrower differential, new lower and upper wishbones, a carbon body mount support and a very small aluminium servo saver. The front lower arms can be mounted in two different positions using some eccentric inserts to adjust the roll-center, a unique feature in this class. Additionally the front shock tower has been updated to suit the latest geometry-changes of the shock position for a better steering response. Read more...

Shepherd Velox V10 'Twelve' - Now Available

Team Shepherd would like to inform you that the new Velox V10 "Twelve" kits are now available. The kit includes the new rear end for a ball-raced rear anti-roll bar as well as stronger body posts for the front and the rear. The ball-raced anti-roll has a much better response leading to an improved traction when accelerating while the new stronger body posts feature adjustable plates to fine tune the height of the body in 3 steps. Of course the Velox V10 "twelve" relies on many established features like the 'Direct-V-Brake System', easy differential maintained, adjustable servo saver and many others.

Shepherd is happy to inform you that the conversion kit for the Velox V10 "twelve" is available from now on. The upgrade kit includes all parts for the new ball-raced rear anti-roll bar as well as stronger body posts for the front and the rear to convert the Velox V10 to the latest edition. The ball-races anti-roll has a much better response leading to an improved traction when accelerating while the new stronger body posts feature adjustable plates to fine tune the height of the body in 3 steps. Soon the complete kit will also be available too.

Shepherd dominates 1st Rd of Brazilian Nats

The first round of the Brazilian on-road nitro nationals was dominated by Team Shepherd Brazil with victories in all three classes. Additionally more than 70% of the attending drivers were using a Velox V10 - an impressive result of the hard work of Brazilian driver and distributor Eduardo Dulac who provided a tent and seats for all attending Shepherd drivers.

In the "Masters" category it was current Touring B champion Luciano Aquino who crossed the finishing line in first position. He was joined on the podium by his new team-mate Edson Lima in third position who changed to Shepherd in late 2011.

In the "Touring B" categorie Evandro Rocchie took the victory for Team Shepherd finishing 5 laps over the second placed driver while in the "Touring A" category it was Shepherd driver Gabriel Brito finishing 5 laps in front of second placed driver with Shepherd team mate Vitor Ohta competing the podium.

New Velox V10 Kevlar Pulleys

Team Shepherd is happy to announce the release of their Kevlar pulleys for the Velox V10 after intensive testing. These low friction pulleys provide an improved and smoother rotation of the drivetrain to improve the acceleration of the V10 and are available for all pulleys except for the rear diff housing/pulley as a set or separately from now on.

New Velox V10 Light Diff Pins

Team Shepherd reports - "As we always try to improve the performance of our cars in every detail, this time we would like to introduce our extrem light diff pin made from high quality 7075 T6 aluminum for the Velox V10. For an improved durability and a longer life the pins are hardcoated while the weight could be reduced by about 65% compared to the normal pins."
