World RC Car Speed Championships -

The UK round of the 2008 World RC Car Speed Championships will be held over 2 days on 20th and 21st of September at the Shakespeare County Raceway, Long Marston England. This event will be part of the World Championships that are being stages also in the USA and, hopefully other countries around the world. Hopefully we will see the record of 134.4 set by Nic Case in 2006 with broken and some decent speeds of over 100mph set by the nitro cars.

The USA round of the World RC Car Speed Championships will be held at the Rockingham Dragway North Carolina on October 4th. There will be trophies and prizes for all class winners and special 100mph club hats awarded to anybody going over 100mph.
100mph Hats -
At both events we will be awarding hats to anybody who achieves 100mph or more. The hats will be black and gold and have a special 100mph club logo on the front. I will be making 10 hats and if only 6 people achieve 100mph then the other 4 will be burned at the event.
There is no chance anybody will get one unless they get 100mph!
