Li-Po’s Not Recommended For New E-Maxx
News from RC411 – “Although we reviewed the E-Maxx 16.8 in the February issue, using Li-Po batteries, Traxxas does not recommend doing so. Ni-MH batteries should be used in the application instead. Using Li-Po’s runs the risk of fire, explosion, or simply ruining the battery packs. Never attempt to use Li-Po’s in the 16.8, unless you are very experienced and familiar with Li-Po technology. The use of NiMH packs will NOT significantly diminish the performance of the new E-Maxx 16.8.” [ Source - rc411.com]
