“The 2008 Nitro Buggy season is off to a great start and if the level of competition at this early stage is anything to go by the 2008 season will be something not to miss. With the monsoon season upon us, drivers numbers were down but a good strong spectator crowd was on hand to witness some spectacular Nitro dirt action , the rain ravaged circuit wasnt giving up much grip in practice and the early heats, but a nice grippy race line was soon showing through on the hard packed circuit after the first round of racing, which saw Tony Knauth - X1CR - RB on 13 laps take the win 20 seconds ahead of Neil Ingram - MBX5R - RB with Tim Nicol - MBX5R - RB on 12 laps in third.
