CML Nitro Winter Championships - Rnd 4
“Round 4 of the CML Nitro Winter Championships was run over the weekend and saw an almost National level of competition. Darren Bloomfield put his car on pole position for the main final with a great last round that put him a few seconds in front of Team Associated’s Lee Martin in second and Simon Willetts third. The level of competition was shown by the fact that drivers of the standard of Jamie Booth and Dave Bailey had to bump up from the ‘B’ into the main final. In the main the final Darren lead away from pole despite a few small errors just managed to keep a small lead over the chasing Lee Martin and David Crompton.
