CML Carpet Thrashnals - Rnd 3
“Round three of the 2007/08 CMCC Carpet Thrashnal series sponsored by CML Distribution and Microtech Racing saw the Yokomo BD, Grainger Edition, dominate in the 19T class. It was another excellent meeting thanks to Stephen Fabray and crew of the Chippenham Model Car Club. The track was to their usual high standards, fast flowing and technically challenging, making car setup all important. With the help of race referee, BRCA Touring Pro Adrian Jefferies, who made sure everyone stayed inline. Qualifying in the 19T class saw the Yokomo BD of Steve Davies improve on his TQ pace in all five rounds. His Yokomo ran faultless all day running on the RP 30 pre glued control tyre and he took TQ by two seconds. The final saw a clean start by most of the top runners and saw Steve create a good gap on the rest of the field. Steve went on to drive a faultless final and finished seven seconds clear of second place. Round 4 will be held on 9th December 2007.” [Source - cmldistribution.co.uk]
