“A rescheduled 4wd regional at the Kidderminster track in the west midlands was to be my first competitive outing as a Hot Bodies team driver. The Kidderminster track is renowned as being one of the best off road tracks in the UK and combines high bite astroturf with tarmac and clay to give a challenging multi-surface circuit. This track is used in the national series and in my regional series therefore I know it pretty well and am therefore able to tell when a car is performing well around it… and during practice I could tell straight away that the D4 was such a car.
