“The first round of the Norwegian National Championship was held in Farsun on April 4th. New this year is that 5 races will count in the National Championship instead of only 1 race. This would be the first race on asphalt with the T2’008 and after the great functionality on carpet I was exited about how this car would work on asphalt. Since the nitro class was held on Saturday, the grip was much better than last year, although tire wear was a problem. The biggest challenge on this track was to get enough steering into the corners, but my car felt great from the first test, so only small adjustments were made.” Read More… [Source - teamxray.com]

“Kyosho have released information about their latest Kyosho V-One RRR 1/10th scale 200mm, the Evo 2. Designed to be a refinement rather than an all new design, the designers have worked on performance, stability and ease of maintenance. The main chassis plate is completely new with a narrower front end, while the radio plate has been stiffened up to improve drivability. The car also features the 2 speed gearbox from the Evolva M3, a new thicker revised rear shock tower and the rear of the car also sports longer arms to allow the use of 0-offset wheels.” [Source - redrc.net]

“We arrived at the track on the Saturday morning with the weather not looking to good. It rained on of in showers until about lunch. It left the track with a few soggy spots all through qualifying making tyre choice very difficult for everyone. Mixed fortunes were the order of the day in Qualifying, round one put me 8th in the Buggy’s and TQ in the Truggy’s. In round 2 having not changed anything I slipped to 15th in the buggy’s and 3rd in the Truggy’s. For round three I wanted to shake things up a little and went for GRP Conspikes on the Buggy and a new set of XRAY’s very own Thrax Tyres on the truggy. I managed to pull back to 12th and 2nd in the “B” final by the end of Buggy qualifying. Truggy faired much better with a respectable 3rd on the grid for the “A” final!” [Source - mirageracing.com]

“K Factory shock oils are made from 100% pure silicone oil with no additives or fillers to degrade performance. Unlike carbon based oils, silicone oil is non-flammable, temperature-stable and won’t attack your shock’s rubber o-rings or plastic parts. Protecting the inner components and seals means your shocks won’t leak and thus render them ineffective. The K Factory shock oil stays in while keeping the enemy, air and dirt out. Viscosity (thickness) is what makes shock oil tuneable for the driving conditions and demands of each individual race track. K Factory’s superior shock oils maintain viscosity even in hot weather when other oils may thin out. The high quality you have come to expect from all of K Factory’s parts and equipment is built–in to our performance grade shock oils. So whether you need stability and cornering ability on a high speed on-road track or maximum traction and shock absorbing on a rugged off-road track, get your ”tune on” with K Factory Shock Oils.” [Source - kfactoryracing.com]

“The first and second national were to be held over the same weekend again starting at the excellent HNMC venue in Ware, After weeks of racing in the worst conditions of all time we actually saw the sun shinning through and my coat got a rest for the first time this season! This was to be only the second run for me with the MBX5T and the first time on dirt so didn’t really know what to expect and with a good number of top rallycross boys in attendance it was going to be tough.” Read More… [Source - piraterc.com]
