With final preparations well underway for the first race of the Euro Nitro Series, the organisers of the exciting new championship for onroad nitro racers today announced that reigning 1:10 200mm World Champion manufacturer KM Racing will join the series coming on board as a Primary sponsor of the two race ‘Pilot Series’. Set to shortly release its first 1:8 Onroad contender, the K8, which is currently under going final development testing, KM Racing join Xray, Shepherd Micro Racing and Novarossi as the key sponsors of the inaugural season of the ENS. We have obtained body-off photos of X Factory engineer Paul Sinclair’s prototype X–6 Cubed, which we are now able to reveal. In recent months X-Factory has released photos with the body on, but they have kept the lid on details of the new car while final details of the design were being worked out. As can be seen from the photos, the X–6 Cubed will be an all carbon fibre car in keeping with X-Factory’s recently released SCX–60CF short course and the X–60CF stadium truck. Read more...

For the 3rd round of the British 200mm Championship we visited the excellent Halifax circuit in West Yorkshire. The venue has recently undergone big improvements with a new raised pit lane and fantastic covered pits, in preparation for the upcoming 1/8th European Championships.Saturdays practice started off with many drivers suffering with rear stability on their cars. The traction gradually improved throughout the day and after trying many different set up’s, all Serpent drivers were very happy with the performance of their 747. It was Mark Green setting the pace getting down to 16.2 lap times, Joe Kerry very close behind with his 747 on 16.3 laps. Read more...
