Vampire Racing success in Austria

Vampire Racing factory team drivers Stefan Pfeifhofer and Rene Trauner look back on a very successful 2012 campaign in the Austrian 1/10th electric buggy nationals. Held over the course of the Summer with five race meetings at five different locations the championship saw the attendance of international pro drivers such as Hupo Hönigl (Team Durango) and Peter Pinisch (Team Associated).

Stefan excelled in the 2WD class and was able to score a victory beating Hupo and three runner-up spots handing the 2012 EFRA European Championship A finalist the Vice Championship just behind Hönigl. Vampire Racing's other 2012 EFRA Euros A finalist Rene Trauner (Yokomo) was only able to attend at three meetings but showed an impressive performance by scoring three second place results.

In the very tough and hard fought 4WD class Stefan scored a second and a third place as best results handing him the fourth overall position in the 2012 Championship. Rene Trauner did what he can do best and scored three second place results meaning the overall sixth position in the championship.
