Customs problems for 8th Worlds?
After certain drivers and RC personalities spent up to 8 or so hours in a standoff with customs officials, while attempting to enter Argentina for the recent Worlds Warm Up event, it’s understandable why drivers are concerned for the real thing in December. Below is a video Neo Buggy published with Jason Ruona of JConcepts, who declined paying the hefty customs fee to release three boxes of tyres.
The Neo Buggy team also spoke to the S.American Federation (FAMAR) Chairman Flavio Lombardo while at the event, who is understandably unhappy with the experiences many had had in customs, however he explained that for the Worlds in December a temporary import will be in place for all those arriving. Thus avoiding a repeat of such events.
