LRP S10 Blast TC enters BRCA Nationals

The LRP S10 Blast TC RTR is the car of the new team race that will be held at all rounds of this year’s UK BRCA 1/10 electric touring car series.
This season’s BRCA 1/10 electric touring car series sees an innovation never realised before in a UK based championship. At each of the five rounds a team race is being held. Teams are made up of six drivers. The format for the race is that all cars start behind a pace car, the pace car then peels off and the teams race for eight minutes. During that time they have to change driver and tyres, so a certain amount of strategy comes into play and the racing becomes more thrilling.
The car used is the LRP S10 TC RTR. The supplied body shell has been replaced and all teams run the same body. This is what BRCA co-ordinator Adrian Jefferies said: “We were looking for a car that gave good performance and was easy to tune, we have not allowed any hop ups on the S10, the teams must use the car as it comes out of the box with the exception of changing the tyres, body shell and battery. We also wanted a car that was strong and did not require many spares, following round one we can confirm the LRP S10 Blast TC RTR suited our needs perfectly.”
The first round race was won by team RC Dynamics / MB Models; the next round will take place at the much tighter West London track.
