Drake wins Dirt Nitro Challenge in Italy
Neo Buggy reports – “He came he saw and he conquered the truggy and buggy classes at the weekend’s Dirt Nitro challenge in Italy. Adam Drake drove an unmatched final in buggy, early on he led with Batlle in 2nd until Robert retired, Boots ended up 2nd having had an engine flame out after 9 mins, a good drive through the field. Strong result as top Italian going to the maestro Davide Tortorici – the MBX6R buggy breathing new life into his driving. A solid debut for the new XRAY XB9 – Savoya taking 6th 5th (after being awarded a lost lap), he’ll be looking to lead the set up development of this car over the winter in order to be ready for 2012.”
