World RC Car Speed Championships

Intro -

The UK round of the 2008 World RC Car Speed Championships will be held over 2 days on 20th and 21st of September at the Shakespeare County Raceway, Long Marston England. This event will be part of the World Championships that are being stages also in the USA and, hopefully other countries around the world. Hopefully we will see the record of 134.4 set by Nic Case in 2006 with broken and some decent speeds of over 100mph set by the nitro cars.

Classes - 

The official classes for the event are as follows;

Electric Open
IC Open
Electric Scale
IC Scale
Nitro Bikes
Electric Bikes
Buggies, Truggies and Monster Trucks
Non wheel drive

There are other "unofficial" classes running but cars will be segregated into the above for heats. All details of the event and classes can be found on the information pages.
